A Walk in the Park
We made this game for Winter Visual Novel Jam 2022. The composer Nykia and I (Dr. B.A. Ferguson) came up with the premise, and the game was made with VNMaker (and its assets). The backgrounds were from Neeka of OBP (https://itch.io/profile/neeka-of-obp). A Walk in the Park follows Rosa as they meet their childhood friend Dario in the park. They have not seen each other in a long time, and something seems off... The game has three endings in all: a "good" ending, a "neutral" ending, and a "bad" ending. See if you can get all three!

Unfortunately, the game does not work on Apple Silicon M1 with MacOS Ventura :(
Ah, good to know. I will try to make a version for that operating system in the next update. Thank you for letting me know!
Loved the story and art, music, a fantastic job to you and your entire team.
Aww, thank you so much for the feedback and or playing!
Lovely game. I think I got the neutral and good ending!
The story and vibe in general was quite cozy, and I think you guys did good by leaving some hints up to the plot twist. Liked the music loops, they settled the mood pretty well. The VA was pretty good, and it made the experience way more compelling. Althought not the best quality but hey, good acting is good acting anyways!
Then again, I have one critic, and goes to the... let's say interface? Normally VNs that play with replaying the game have a skip function that skips only what you already saw, not what you didn't saw. I don't know what program did you guys use, but that and the cursor bug when loading was a bit of a problem.
Excellent, thank you for the great feedback. We used VNMaker, and I am trying to figure out the cursor. I was not aware of the Skip bug, so I will get working on that. Thank you again for the feedback and for playing!
I think I got the good ending!
Fabulous! Thanks for playing!!
